I have found the greatest thing. It's called emusic.com, and it's basically napster, but legal.

You go there, and sign up, and get a 30 day trial. After that, you pay a flat fee per month to download as many mp3's as you like. With each one you download, money goes from emusic.com to the person who made the music. And there you go - mp3s that are legal and easy to play.

Back when Napster imploded, I was talking with a friend of mine, and we agreed that we'd happily pay ten or fifteen dollars a month to get mp3s legally - and now we can. And we're both members.

They don't have a perfect selection, but they've got a lot of good stuff. George Carlin, TMBG, Skip Roper and Mojo Nixon - stuff that I'd love to hear more of, and now I can.

This is so cool!

Gotta go. I've got online music to buy. :)

Heh, Thanks for welcoming me at shoujoai.com. I feel a little more welcome there now. Also feels good talking to another Moody brother. I've been into the band for a couple of years and I've already burned all of the CD's my dad owns (which is a lot).

Anyway just thought I let you know I was among the living. BTW, concerning your entry, have you ever tried Kazaa.com? It's like what you're talking about but in this case, you do a search and you get a list of available people who has this artist or song on their hard drive and you download it from them as long as they are connected. Well, don't want to influence you away from what you are using.

Be sure to check out my journal whenever you have the chance. Later!
