I have found the greatest thing. It's called emusic.com, and it's basically napster, but legal.

You go there, and sign up, and get a 30 day trial. After that, you pay a flat fee per month to download as many mp3's as you like. With each one you download, money goes from emusic.com to the person who made the music. And there you go - mp3s that are legal and easy to play.

Back when Napster imploded, I was talking with a friend of mine, and we agreed that we'd happily pay ten or fifteen dollars a month to get mp3s legally - and now we can. And we're both members.

They don't have a perfect selection, but they've got a lot of good stuff. George Carlin, TMBG, Skip Roper and Mojo Nixon - stuff that I'd love to hear more of, and now I can.

This is so cool!

Gotta go. I've got online music to buy. :)
