Happy 4th of July!

Nothing special planned for the holiday. I'm going to go off in a few minutes and play Living Greyhawk for the day. I'm looking forward to it - with a bit of luck I may have Alex go up to 6th level. Unfortunately, I've got to wait until 8th to go Duellist with him, as I picked up Improved Disarm instead of Mobility a few levels ago.
Ah, well.
Tammy's working today - a bit of a pain, but it's time and a half, and we can use the money after all the cash spent on the kitchen.
We had a bad surprise earlier this week - it turns out that one of the transfers we'd phoned in (from savings to checking) never got processed, so five of our checks bounced. We've complained, and our bank is covering the bounce charges, but we're looking out for other bounce fees. That's a real pain.
But hey - on the whole life is good. *knock on wood* G'wan out and celebrate the country somehow. But watch those fireworks - you could put your eye out.
