Hi all.

Yesterday's Call of Cthulhu game went well, for all of it's shart length. Only three players showed up - Chuck, JM, and his sister Trixii - but we only had a tiny bit to go in the North American chapter, so we played through that and ended as they sailed off to England.

With that done, and done early, JM reminded me that he'd seen cheap 1:24 scale cars at the KB Toys in the Colorado Mills shopping center. So he and I went off to the mall and looked at them. At $7 each, they were perfect for my upcoming Car Wars 1:24 scale game, so I grabbed eight. This is fantastic - I thought I'd be getting model sets and putting them together, but this will be much easier! :)

Once I got home I discovered that our house had been invaded by close to a hundred moths. The sight of them swarming around the ceiling fan in the Kitchen was really striking. I grabbed Tammy and we headed out to Home Depot for something to help. We got there about five minutes before they closed, and quickly found the insect section - which was made up of a bunch of things good for outside use, and bombs to set off inside. Hmmm.

We finally found something that didn't look as toxic as a bomb, and which we thought would be useful. Arriving at home, we turned out all the lights except for the kitchen, cleared the kitchen of anything clean or made of food, and then set up one of these things in the middle of the room. That done, we went to bed and hoped.

Hope went well - in the morning there was 50-60 dead moths littered around the kitchen and a few nearby areas.

The day went pretty well for me. We were late to excersize in the morning due to cleaning up the death of the moths, but we managed and I had a pretty decent day at work. The most painful part of it all was how wonderful a day it was outside! Some days I wish I could win the Lotto and live a life of liesure. Unfortunately, my powerball numbers weren't picked today. :(

And then, to cap off a lovely day of moth-killing, I found out that I lost 4 pounds, and my dear wife Tammy lost 1.6! Fantastic!

Life continues to be good.
