Well, I'm in lovely Fortuna, California right now, way up the Pacific coast. My old friend JM lives out here now with his new family, and I've come out to visit him for a few days.
It's gone pretty nicely, except I managed to completely screw up reserving a rental car while I was here - nothing was available when I arrived, but today I was able to pick up a Taurus, I think.
It's been a lot of fun to see JM again. I haven't seen him for a few years, and it's really nice to hang out with him again, although it seems like most of the time I've spent with him has been driving up and back from the airport. Oh, well...
Looks like we're going to have a bonfire on the beach tonight - that'll be fun.
