jcfialaI seem to have a toothache. Early last week I went in for the first half of getting a crown put in on the upper left side of my mouth, but for the last couple days I've been getting a nasty pain in the lower left side too. It's been interfering with my sleep, so tomorrow I'm going to stay home and visit the Dentist.
Otherwise, things are going well.
Last night I had the second session of my Call of Cthulhu session. It went really well. I'm using "What goes around comes around", a classic CoC senario from The Unspeakable Oath that I've always wanted to run. It's heavy on the investigation, which I think my players will enjoy.
We've started playing at the Old Friend's Bookstore, and it went very well. One of the original players couldn't show, but the addition of Trixii and Keith went nicely. Keith had even gone out and gotten himself a 20's outfit to wear. He's very enthused, but that's a nice thing to have. The feel of playing in a bookstore is very good for the game.
And then arriving at home, what should be waiting for me but Summer Fun Cthulhu? This is a toy stuffed Cthulhu, but with the addition of a hawaiian shirt, shorts, flip-flops and a darling straw hat. Ultimate evil and hunger seldom looks so cute!
And finally, this last week I lost 0.8 pounds. That puts my total at 35.6, a mere shadow of a pound away from my 10% of 36 pounds. I should be able to hit that before the trip to Las Vegas. :)
So, life is pretty good, but I'm tired. I need to pay attention to getting enough sleep each night.
