jcfialaGot up out of bed, got everything together, dragged ourselves downtown to exercise - and discovered that I'd left my exercise clothes on the damn stove. *hits head against wall* Now feel off-balance - I'm at work early, and no one else is. (Of course, given that today is an optional day at work, I'm not sure who else will be here.)
Saturday was fun - Tammy went off for a sewing circle all day, so I wandered along Broadway, ducking into various bookstores and browsing. Only bought one book - generally nothing grabbed me, and huge lists of paperbacks turn into a sludge in front of my eyes unless there's something specific I'm looking for. (I found some books at one place that tickled my fancy, but I thought that their prices were a little high for used books.)
Sunday I ended up on Broadway again, this time because a friend of ours, Jane, had a talk she was giving at the Denver Book Mall about corsets. She makes them for a living now, having been a rocket scientist in her earlier life. (This means that not only are her corsets well made, but they're rated for re-entry.) I mostly spent the time reading 'Primetime Adventures' and making an origami box.
Looking forward to this weekend...
