Jul. 26th, 2002 06:11 pmWell, last night my wife Tammy dragged me off of the computer to play a game, which I agreed to because I have been spending a good bit of time on the computer.
(But then again, so has she.)
Anyway, she decided on Australia Rails, which is a board game where you build up a network of railroad track in Australia in order to move goods to destinations and get paid. It's a fun game, especially for two players, and I managed to win it, which was a pleasant surprise.
The unnatural water from the heavens didn't last long, so the sacrifice of a dozen M&Ms were not necessary. This was a great relief.
And now, I sit and relax at my computer, contemplating the weekend to come and shooting Jingoro with water whenever he attacks the other cats.
Tomorrow I will be judging Living Greyhawk, and my wife will be playing. Don't know if I'll get her in one of my tables, but it's an interesting idea. I'm hoping she'll continue to enjoy D&D.
