A momentary attack of the cold

Bleh. Spring colds are not fun. Went out yesterday to mail out the DASFAx, and came back with a bug, I guess, because I was soon headachy, tired, and grumpy as heck. Didn't even go to my game that night - just went to bed.

Bleh.

But today I've been better - got to meet up with an old work friend for lunch, which was pleasant, and then went by my favorite bookstore, where I got a few books and worked an hour or so at the counter while Keith (the owner) did some errands. But I got this really *cool* children's book about flying cats by Ursula K. Leguin... wait a moment - here it is: Catwings. The writing is naturally good, and the artwork is fantastic.

Then, when I got home, a promising phone call about maybe a job. Or at least, maybe an interview. :)

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow - DevDays arrives in Denver. All I need to know about Web Security in ASP.NET. I can't wait!

Oh, good! If it's reached Colorado Springs in time, then it should have hit all of Denver in time for the meeting as well.

(Oh! And Tammy *did* accept the job with Bonfils, and will no longer be working for Echostar after another week or so. Thanks for the heads up on their managing tactics.)

Want to have some fum Memorial weekend May 29th-31st Come down to Manitou Springs and enjoy three days of really good free music. There will also plenty of arts and crafts booth. Bruce Dane's and Tom Johnson's Band Boomer Box Will be playing.


ps I'm glad for Tammy in the long run I think she will be much happier.
