Considering Buying the Cow...

So, I'm thinking of actually paying for my livejournal account. I'm enjoying having my account, and I wouldn't mind being able to access somewhat more reliable servers, which they point out as a benefit of membership.

So - give me a hand. For those of you who *do* pay for the membership, then what's your reason for doing so? I'm curious.

Well I did it because I though I would use polls quite a bit in my journal. But of course I've not done one since I started. Also I did it because I figured that it was not as much money as I spend on the Library through the friends and they're doing good work, so I support them.

Totally for the extra icons, man. Also, I like the idea of supporting a service that provies such cool stuff for free to so many people.

I got my paid account as a gift, but I'm considering paying for it after it expires because I want to customize my journal into a theme and also because it's one of the only things I've found on the internet that's really worth paying for.

I got the paid account for more icons and the fact that I could introduce more people to LJ. So far, five new accounts have been created since I happened upon this lovely little service.
