Title: The Magical Mystery Hibiki Tour
Authors: by Jaelle and Orla
Show: Ranma 1/2 (With some cross-over)

Warning: Some spoilers may exist.
This is a cute and generally lighthearted fanfiction that I found myself quite enjoying. The basic idea is that Ranma and Akane are almost definitely going to get married in a few more months. As a last-ditch effort to stop that, Ukyou and Ryouga create a new venture - Ryouga's been in most of the world via his lost wandering, so they'll set up a tourbus and hold mystery tours through China. They invite Ranma and Akane as a wedding present, and along the way attempt to push them apart. To be able to afford to do this, though, they need to bring along some other customers, who are all from various anime as well.
The beginning is rough. They're apparently a bit new to writing, and they rely a little too heavily on author asides (which always jolt me out of the story) and present Ryouga in a rather favorable light. However, they learn as they go and around part 3 start really getting into the story about the same time that the bus leaves on the tour. The limited crossover of the other characters works well - although I didn't recognize some of them at first, they're presented well enough that someone unfamiliar with the series would still enjoy them.
Unlike RPM's excellent 'The More Things Change', the Ukyou/Ryouga relationship is markedly different from Ranma and Akane's, moving much faster and encountering other problems because of it, which I rather liked. The story moves along nicely to it's climax, and ends pretty well aside from a few small details that are easily overlooked. Furthermore, although the authors are obviously big fans of Ryouga, they don't demonize Ranma or change the Ranma/Ryouga relationship other than softening the rivalry as Ryouga's attention focuses on Ukyou. Another nice pitfall they avoid is that they don't ignore the presence of Akari.
I recommend the story to people who enjoy humorous fanfiction with romance and some action, and who haven't burned out on Ranma 1/2 fanfiction yet.
