I've been quiet...
May. 15th, 2003 09:54 pmI've been quiet recently after having managed to post at least twice a week for a few months. Last week I was sick a little - not enough to skip any days from work, but enough to be really tired out afterwards.
This week I was doing overtime - we had a big deadline today, and I wanted to make sure I met it. It involved me missing some stuff I usually do after work - like my Call of Cthulhu game, darnit - but I got my share of the work in on time. Early, even. So it was worth it.
On the weight front, I managed to gain 0.2 pounds last week - but this week I lost 3.2, which brought me to 301 pounds exactly. This means I've lost 60.2 pounds - a milestone I'm having fun celebrating. I'm also going to celebrate when I dip below 300!
Otherwise, the house is in a disarray - we're getting it ready for installing new cabinets in the kitchen. Tammy's going around and painting things, moving things, and so forth - and I'd be doing more if it wasn't for the overwork.
Anyway, it's time for bed. Tomorrow: Matrix Reloaded and a baseball game.

Date: 2003-05-21 04:32 pm (UTC)I am stuck. I'm bouncing between 332 and 342 for the past couple of months. At the high end that is still a 160# loss over 12 years, and I'm fighting to get below 300. Fighting a lot.
But don't think 60 pounds is anything less than a great accomplishment.
