Life's going fairly well for me. Yes, I'm still unemployed, and I haven't found a new job for me yet - but it's going fairly well none-the-less.

In my job searching, I've stepped up my learning curve by joining a study group for passing the MCAD/MCSD Microsoft certifications for C#. I really think passing these will help me to get a job. Unfortunately, my practical work with the code has been held back because I had the wrong operating system - to work with ASP.NET, you need the IIS, and XP Home edition doesn't have the IIS. I'm waiting for the upgrade to arrive in the mail, and am spending my spare time now burning data to CDs as backups in case the upgrade screws up my data.

Other bits of my life go well also - the first DASFAx my wife and I produced was very well received, and we're looking forward to producing the second. I've been going through the subscription database, removing people whose subscriptions have lapsed, who don't contribute anymore, or otherwise don't need a newsletter sent to them anymore.

My d20 book is progressing unfortunately slowly, but it *is* progressing. I've completed a new class - the Savant - which is unlike any other base class yet. I can't wait to try it out.

And I've gotten out of the house a little, doing a little work on the side for a friend who owns a bookstore. It's only a couple hours a week, and I'm not getting paid enough to affect my uninsurance, but it's nice to work a little, isn't it?

And finally, our health is good. Which always helps. (And we've got health insurance through Tammy's work now!)
