Studio Ghibli
Aug. 25th, 2002 12:56 pmWell, it's a relaxing Sunday, and to celebrate, Tammy and I are not relaxing - instead, we're cleaning the house, which really needs it.
While cleaning, I managed to find my new Studio Ghibli Image Model Collection I: Laputa, The Castle in the Sky. This is a lovely three-figure set from the film that I picked up at GenCon. The fitures look like they are die cast metal, but they're actually plastic. There's not a lot of Laputa merchandise out there, and I was really happy to find it.
You know, for a Gaming convention, Gen Con had a lot of anime for sale. There was TokyoPop and a number of other major publishers as well as the usual mail/web ordering companies.
And lots of trash. Why don't we throw these things out when we first get them, I want to know. Trash, trash, trash.
Oh, well. Room's almost finished, but it's time to head off to lunch. Talk to you later.
