What do you really really want?

Well, apparently, we really want cheap gas. Check out this blog post which shows a plot of the President's approval rating on top of a graph of the inverse of the gas prices.

So, if we want to get a lot of Democrats into the Senate and House in 2006, we've got to keep that gas price high...

I dunno that it will work that way. This might be a case of similar origions. The worse the war goes the higher the price of gas and likewise the worse aproval ratings.
