Jan. 23rd, 2006 10:01 amExercise again. I figure if we can keep this up until March, inertia will carry us on after that.
CoSine was, at the end, disappointing. Not many people there, not much business in the dealer's room, not much activity in the Art Show, disappointing hotel, lackluster time. I think the most useful time I spent was a few hours spent on my Convention Assistant on Sunday, and the most useful time Tammy spent was an hour or so in a fantastic bead shop she found nearby. I don't know if we'll go back for next year, but I somehow doubt it. (I also managed to get a bit more work on it last night, to the point where I'm almost ready to get all the tests green again. Plus, I've rolled my own MockDataReader, which has helped to teach me a lot about the IDataReader interface.)
If you're reading my journal, and you're not also reading Gunnerkrigg Court, then you probably should start. Absolutely fabulous graphic storytelling with that touch of the witty and macabre that tends to delight people I know. We recommend it.
