Fanfiction returns?

jcfialaA while back I got into writing fanfiction for a while, and in fact had a couple stories that got put up on http://www.fanfiction.net/ After a while I sort of hit a wall - I wasn't coming up with anything else worthwhile so I set it aside for a while and worked on other things.
However, I'm still *in* the site, and whenever someone leaves a review of one of my stories I get a notice on my old hotmail account, which I tend to check about once a month or two. (Since I've switched over to GMail mostly, there's not really a lot of reason to look at it.) I happened to be checking out Microsoft Live beta this morning, and found that someone had left some positive comments late last month. So, I enjoyed the egoboo, and decided to head back into the site and wander through it.
Ugh. And I can't. There's some odd problem with the site, either everyone's suddenly got the fever to read fanfic, or else they've got some other problem with their webserver, because I can't log in, and I can't even search for things. It's really a shame.
Maybe I should make a website for myself again and just put them up there. (Although it is nice getting reviews on the fanfiction site.)
