As I may have mentioned, my new job is downtown. As it happens, due to limited parking in the garage under the building, I've been giving a parking space in a nearby lot - which happens to be on top of a Greyhound bus terminal. (It's a trick driving up the ramp in the snow, but that's another entry.) I don't mind this myself - I've travelled on Greyhound a lot back when I was in college.

Today, as I was making my way into the station (as the way up is an elevator inside, although the way down is stairs - security again), a girl stopped me and asked if I was willing to buy her tarot deck for five dollars, so she could get her luggage back. I looked over the cards - interesting, full color pastel artwork on each one, along with words in french, and quickly agreed.

Arriving home, I've googled and discovered that this is the 'Voodoo tarot deck', which normally sells (with a book) for abut $65. How about that.

And it's lovely - I'll try to scan a few in and show 'em off, later. But now I've got to be going.

I hate to pee on things, but she might be a thief. Just a thought.

Hmm. I suppose she could be. That would be a shame, but I don't know what I could do about it.

Oh, not at all. Actually, I think it'd add an interesting provenance to the deck if that was true. ;)

'Stolen by a thief, sold for a song... Voodoo tarot!'
