Hey all.

Sorry I've been away for a while. I've been concentrating a lot on my MUSH playing while I've been home, and haven't been in the mood to do up any entries at work - sometimes I do and I mail 'em home, and sometimes I don't.

I like ebay. It does what it needs to do very well, and that's why they're still on top with everyone else trying to copy their success. I like how I can watch an auction I'm interested in, and go back to it easily. I like being able to save off categories I go to often. I like being able to ask questions of the seller, and know that when I am the seller, that bots aren't going to suck my email address off of the page. I like being able to buy stuff for cheap that it would take me days to find here in Denver.

It does a good job. I like things that work well. It gives me satisfaction, not only that things aren't always crappy in the world, and that someone's hard work is being recognized as a good job, even if I can't ever tell whoever did this that it's a fantastic job.

Personally, I love the fact that people are going to pay me for some of my stuff that's been sitting around for years. Makes me smile :-)

I sent the invite a couple days ago - it's the 5th of September at 7:00 - Jillians at the Colorado Mills. Fun MUST be had to celebrate the 9th Anniversary of my 29th Birthday :-)

Hmm... We'll have to see. My Dad's visiting, but on the other hand, he's visiting because of the big Model Train show that weekend.

And on the gripping hand, maybe we can stop by anyway.

I don't seem to have received an invite, was it snail mail? Or did you send it to my work address?

And are you registered for gifts at Attactix or Valhallas? *grin*

That's cool - I just happened to take a few days off of work, so I haven't seen it yet.

I'll let you know how things look to be going, but I'll try to stop by and at least say hi.

Ah, I will be there after all - Dad's going to be busy with the con, which goes late. Tammy won't be there until 8pm, but I think I should be there on time.

Want some nice Kalimar modules for your birthday? Tammy thinks she picked up doubles of ones I grabbed. *laugh*

LOL - they're probably copies of the ones I have here at home... and had since Genghis... Aaah, the joys of being the RPG Coordinator, you get to keep product at your house ;-)
