Tacticon, Day 2 done
Sep. 2nd, 2005 10:05 pmWell!
Friday morning is always very easy for RPGs - the only people who play RPGs are the ones willing to take the day off for it, and there's not too much of them. So, morning and afternoon were pretty easy to set up - divide up the LGs, settle them out, send them out to their rooms.
Friday night, on the other hand, was pretty big. People get off of work and hit the con, and one game was a little mis-scheduled, leading to having six tables worth of people wanting to play in it! Luckily we were able to get six judges, and they're all taken care of now. Had one guy show up a little late - mustering in a strange place makes things confusing - and had to do a little shuffling to fit him it. It was a lot of work, but finally I had everyone settled and taken care of.
On the plus side, picked up some marvelous deals in the Dealer's room, as well as a few new items, like 'Best D20 of the Year', which looked pretty cool, and issue two of 'The Crusader'.
Tomorrow: Saturday the beast.
