Well, Thanksgiving has passed by, and I'm fairly happy with it. I've got even more to be thankful about than I'd expected to be (see last entry), but even beyond that I've got a lot to be happy about, and just only one big thing to be sad about.

And we're working on that sad thing, so we're good.

Stayed in for Thanksgiving, with our friend Trixii coming over to enjoy dinner. We had brussel sprouts, broccoli, candied yams (with sugar twin), stuffing, and Turkey. Nummy. And then Saturday out we went to a get-together of friends who were having thanksgiving, to which we brought a seven-layer-salad and another thing of candied yams. After that we played a couple of games, including three rounds of Uno, of which I managed to win two. Yay me. :)

Much thanks to Robin Owens for having us, and I urge everyone to run out and buy her book Heart Mate, which won best paranormal romance in 2002. :)

Speaking of books, I went by Murder by the Book yesterday. I was hoping to sell off a few mysteries I had gotten via the Mystery Book Club by accident, but they don't buy books this time of year. Drat. Found out about an author named Larry Millet, who does Holmes stories - I'm interested in seeing more, but I've got technical books to read now.

Well, see you all later.
