Ben Con went well for me. I prepped to run a Living Force module on Friday afternoon... but with only two players showing up, we were a bit over-supplied on players. Which is well and good, because it gave me some more time to work on the Car Wars game.
The Car Wars game went off just fine, by the way - I'm really happy with how that turned out. I had three players walk up who had played before, my friend JM came to the con to help with refereeing and to be a spot player, and I had two 10 or 12 year old boys show up who were interested in the large cars. The game went well, and I got some shots of it that I'm planning to see if I can get Steve Jackson Games to put on their website.
I'm already planning to do it again at Tacticon, and possibly a few times at a local store or two.
Speaking of pictures, I got my (used) EyeModule in the mail today. It's a small digital camera that attaches to my palmpilot, and it's pretty neat. I'm still learning how to use it the best, but I'm pretty happy so far.
And finally, we dropped by Weight Watchers. I only lost 0.2 pounds, but Tammy was surprised with losing 4.4! That put her over 33 pounds lost, which is great! Her Dad is here to help us install the kitchen cabinets, and aside from the airline temporarily losing his luggage, we're all doing well.
