It's a good day.

It's been a good week. I've been started on the Weight Watchers, but so far it's not been too onerous. Just a little more control, and I'm able to control how much I eat. So that's good.

I've been writing a Christmas Story for the nexus writing group, and it's coming along *very* well. Writing part six was like pouring water out of a pitcher, and I suspect part seven will go just as well. It's been a while since I've written a story this easily or this constantly, and I like it. I'm going to have to try to do the same with the SAS anthology story.

Shopping went well today. We found good gifts for the cousins - My cousin John Karl, who is twelve, and cousin Alison, who is something like eight. We also found some nice Christmas Albums, on sale at Borders. The Muppets with John Denver, Elvis, and Rockapella's second Christmas album. I've always liked Rockappela since they started on the 'Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego' game show on PBS, and this really is a charming set of xmas tunes.
