The week of quiet, simple pleasures continues. Monday night I met with the Mortgage officer so Tammy and I can help Trixii get the loan she needs for the house she wants. Last night I went off (after several weeks of missing) to my weekly D&D game. I'm starting to itch to run a game again - I'm going to have to really think about starting up a campaign.
Money's a little tight, so I passed over the enticing 'Munchkin Bites' box and went on to pick up the latest issue of Dungeon, which promiced an Eberron Adventure and other things. Lately they've divided up Dungeon and Dragon magazines so that all the GM stuff is now pretty much in Dungeon, and player things are in Dragon. So, I think I'll probably drop my sub to Dragon, and see if a few issues of Dungeon convince me to subscribe or not. I just wish it wasn't so freaking expensive - I picked up the issue of Wired recently and they had little cards offering me a year's subscription for $10, which is something I think I'll take them up on.
I finished reading 'Java Garage', and am now working on installing Java 5 so I can try out some of this new Generic stuff. The same stuff is supposed to show up in .NET 2.0, so why not get used to it now? Besides, I want to finish typing in all of the new bits of the book and get ready for the next book.
So, nothing flashy, nothing too excited - just taking it easy. See you later.
